RED HENNA / MEHENDI Designs

Red Henna designs as showcased by my model. Thanks Joanne! :) Henna or Mehendi used to be requested for Bollywood Parties & weddings, but now it is frequently requested for Roadshows, at Concerts, Family Days/Carnivals, Annual Dinners & Henna Tattoo Parties.
Henna is left to stain the skin for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. If it is left on longer, the colour stays & endures. However, many want to take it off as it also drops off when it starts to dry(much like our mud masks which will start to crack & drop off). After 1 hour, scrape it off with DRY tissue. AVOID water for 4 hours if possible.

Also, if Henna is drawn on the palms, the Henna colour will be a deeper red as heat is trapped in our palms.

No Ordinary Affair - 19th & 20th April 2008

Held at Bangsar Village, visitors to this exhibition were treated to fashion shows showcasing the latest bridal designs from Eric Choong, Beatrice Looi and Jovian Mandagie. Amidst getting wedding planning ideas, visitors were also enticed into getting their hands hennaed. Visitors who were heading for a party opted to get their Glitter Tattoos at the Hammam booth.

The Hammam offered brides new "Goddess Treats" which included the Imilchil Bridal Radiance Recipe which is a skin brightening ritual practiced by Imilchil brides & Berber Slimming Recipe sessions which includes Seaweed Citron Slimming & a Slimming Detoxifying massage.

The Hammam also offers Purifying Facials, Reflexology & Express Manicure/Pedicure.

Correction

Face Painting for the children was done in March 2008, not May. TQ.

FACE PAINTING for Children's Performance

"Animal faces" were the looks requested for the schoolchildren during an Action Song & Choral Speaking Competition in May 2008. The children were outfitted in their animal costumes & performed an energetic, captivating dance & song to the tune of Hakuna Matata. Well done, kids!

*Professional Face Paints are used. Face cream is used to protect faces before painting is done.
