FACE and HAND PAINTING was requested for 'Celebrate Dr Seuss' 75 th
Anniversary'. Families were treated to hand painting, sand art, a
walkabout clown, balloons, games and gifts. The face and hand painting
started early to accommodate the large crowd size that was expected.
Some children came in costumes and wigs as their favourite characters
from Dr Seuss' creations; there was Thing 1, Thing 2 and a few Cats with
Hats :)
Everyone was just waiting for a painting,
waiting for a fish that went swimming,
waiting for a cat who loved rhyming,
children loved the drawings..
Young ones wondered how it got late so soon,
on such a fun day in June,
but because there were so many presents,
it was more than pleasant :)
